WE ARE PET FRIENDLY!

We’re pleased that you plan on bringing your bestie along.

They will love the openness of the property, interesting things to smell, and a closeness to nature you will be able to share together.

We must inform you in advance that the Puerto Morelos beach is sadly not dog-friendly. This means you are not allowed to take your dog to the beach or in the sea (sigh!).

People discovered breaking this rule could receive a fine by the local authorities, or in some cases, even have your pet taken.

Luckily, most Puerto Morelos restaurants are dog-friendly so you can take your dog out to enjoy meals together, and take a stroll with your pup on the Puerto Morelos streets.

(Just don’t forget to wear a leash, and please clean up after your doggie)

ON-SITE GUIDELINES

Keep your dog on a leash anytime you are outside to avoid unwanted interactions with other people. Help us keep it safe for everyone! Some people have traumatic memories they don’t want to relive on vacation.

Dogs should not be left alone or unattended inside the rooms for long periods of time. You know your dog and their limits and tolerances, and we trust that you won’t put them or anyone else, in an unwanted situation. Remember to get your dog used to the surroundings, hang out with them in the room for a while, and make sure they are comfortable!
Your dog must not have barking issues that will disturb others. Dogs that are causing a serious disturbance will be asked to leave (we can recommend a local caretaker).
Must be potty trained (outside trained). You are responsible for collecting and disposing in an effective way, and making sure your dog doesn’t pee on any furniture or building walls.
