**VACATION PACKING LIST**

**Weather:** Sunny All Year Around. Can get breezy and chilly from November to March. Pack a light sweater or long sleeve t-shirt.
**Vibe:** Easy going. Wear comfortable and breathable clothes and shoes. Some restaurants offer an ambiance to dress up a little more and celebrate.
**Extras:** Refillable Water Bottle, Eco-Friendly Mosquito Repellent (for evenings out). Bring a hat, or buy one locally!

PARKING: Our parking lot has limited spaces and operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. We reserve spaces for guests on the day of arrival for convenience purposes, please let us know in advance.

ROOM CLEANING: Available every 2 nights (alternating days). Bed linens + towels are changed upon request. Door signs available for privacy.

BEACH CLUB: Beach seating is included for lodge guests. Please reserve at the bar to ensure availability, especially in high season months, holidays and weekends. CAMASTRO

SWIMMING POOL: Please see hours and posted rules, ask the bar or any DLD staff member to assist you if you need an extra lounge chair set up.

EXTRA SERVICES: Extra services are exclusively available for guests staying at The DLD. To ensure availability, let us know ahead of time.

ADO BUS:

1.Take the ADO bus from the Cancun Airport to Puerto Morelos. Limited Hours, not available late night.

Make sure it’s going directly to Puerto Morelos and not Cancun!

2. Upon arrival to the ADO station in Puerto Morelos, take a 10 minute taxi or uber to the Diving Lodge Downtown.

Cost for taxi: $100 pesos, tell them it’s right next to UNICO Beach.

Parking is free and first-come-first-serve, please let us know in advance to secure a spot for your arrival.

Our main street car gate is never locked. It may appear to be closed, but it is just a simple rope hoop.

CHECK INS

Our goal is to provide a seamless arrival & departure experience for our guests. Please share your travel details so we can make any adjustments needed.

The day before your arrival, you will receive a message via whats-app from your local host and guide Paola, confirming your arrival details & assisting you with any questions during your stay.

She will check-you in personally, or leave things ready for you to enter via the lockbox next to your specific cabina door, and also share the 4-digit code.

We always allow for early check-ins and late checkouts, at no additional fee, subject to availability. This means we can’t guarantee it, but if it’s available, it will be free of charge.

For late night arrivals or delays (after 8:00 PM) we offer a lockbox service to collect your cabina keys.

For early bird arrivals/late departures, we offer guaranteed early check-ins and/or checkouts for an additional MX$550

IMPORTANT NOTE:

There is no reception office at The Diving Lodge Downtown. Our ‘front desk’ is our beach bar, our lobby, the sand.

GETTING AROUND TOWN

Puerto Morelos is one of those places where you just don’t need a car… between all the taxis, colectivos (transport vans), bicycles, and now UBER, getting around town and the immediate surroundings can be easily accomplished without renting a car.

If you want a car for a few days, you may consider renting one from a highly recommended local business. The car will be dropped off and picked back up in Puerto Morelos, and everything is very friendly and easy. Contact Ron: (+52) 984 233 8610

A lot of tours and expeditions offer transport too, or you can book private transport through Ride Mexico, Lighthouse Tours, a taxi or Uber (depending on the location).

WiFi Access:
Connect to any of our complimentary Wi-Fi networks. Each room has a card with the network meant for that unit. Please ask the beach bar for their most current information.
Safety Deposit Box (used with key)
Keep important belongings in the safety deposit box. The key is found on your set of room keys BUCEO
Smart TV with access to your favourite platforms (Netflix, Youtube, Amazon, etc).
Welcome Water Bottle provided upon arrival. New ones available at the bar, or by asking your host. Extra fee may apply.
Welcome Coffee & Tea: Ground black coffee + sugar/sweetener + creamer substitute & tea bags to start your stay. New kits available by asking your host. Extra fee may apply.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Please don’t throw toilet paper in the WC, or any other napkins/paper/etc
After using the shower, cover the shower drain with the cover provided.
Always leave your unit door closed to avoid mosquitos from getting in.
Please close your cabina windows when using the air-conditioner, and turn it off when you leave the room.
