The Diving Lodge Downtown in Puerto Morelos offers a wonderful setting to gather your friends and family for unforgettable moments. Imagine welcoming your guests to a private, beachfront venue complete with an open bar by The Diving Bar, a delightful seaside dinner catered by Muses, options for live music, recommendations for local photographers, and many other possibilities. Our 5-villa lodge can be reserved for your wedding weekend, providing exclusive accommodation for your loved ones, or it can remain closed for the evening to ensure complete privacy for your event.

— Additional Decor: Ceremony setup, flowers, a beautiful personalised welcome sign, additional lighting or even a mosquito repellent station, our recommended team of local providers will have you covered.
— Band or Entertainment: Select a local DJ or Band that is available or bring your own talent. You can also choose to play your own music via a pre-selected playlist.
— Wedding Cake/Dessert: Depending on what you envision, we have different options you might consider.
— Extra guests: $2,200/person (up to 150 guests)

What is the most people we can host for a wedding at The DLD?

Does the bar or restaurant open to outside guests on the day of my wedding?
No, the beach club, bar and restaurant are only open for your wedding guests.
How late can my wedding or event end?
11:00 PM is our standard closing time. After that, the cost is MX $7,500.00 per hour, until 1:00AM.
Can I bring a band or DJ of my choice for my event?
Yes, we allow our guests to choose from our selection of local bands, or bring someone they choose.
Can I have my ceremony right by the sea?
Yes, you can arrange to have your ceremony closer to the sea. This involves a special permit fee that is close to $15,000.00 pesos (subject to change).
Typically ceremony’s are set up by our beach entrance, with the sea in the background. This avoids the extra permit costs.
How many people can sleep at the lodge?
We have 5 private villas (cabinas) that can host a total of 17 people.
Is the pool private for guests?
The pool is exclusive for guests of the lodge from 6:00 to 17:00 hrs and until 13:30 on weekends.
Is the Diving Lodge Downtown “all-inclusive”?
We offer complimentary seating in the beach club for all lodge guests, but drinks and food are billed separately.
