The Diving Lodge Downtown is located on one of the most beautiful beach areas in Puerto Morelos. Within a short walk to many cafes, restaurants & shops.
The Accommodations
Our style of hospitality has been crafted through years of experience. We aim to create the nostalgic feeling of a ‘beach casita’ rental, enhanced by resort services and amenities to ensure an extra comfortable stay.
The DLD includes 5 private units (known as ‘cabinas’) that are rented individually, or together for an exclusive stay of up to 17 guests.

Cabina #1 and #2 are pet friendly. Read our Pet Friendly Guidelines and make sure to let us know at the time of booking to ensure a smooth stay.
We encourage our guests to explore the town and find their favorite restaurants, cafes, shops, vendors, and enjoy all that this place has to offer.
For lazy days staying in, we offer a variety of services to enjoy without having to put any shoes on!
Get a therapeutic massage by one of our in-house masseuses. Visit the Diving Bar for tropical drinks and regional dishes served in a family-friendly beach club.
As a DLD guest you have access to a swimming pool, and seating is included in the beach club. It’s a great place to connect with other guests, locals, regulars and listen to live music from talented artists.
Join us in the evenings at our in-house restaurant Muses. Enjoy a Mediterranean dinner under the stars, featuring exquisite dishes and a selection of evening cocktails.
For those looking for adventure, you can book private scuba diving outings and certifications through Squalo Divers or explore the area with Lighthouse Tours (reservations are recommended).
CABINAS
If you’re staying 7 nights or more, we recommend booking one of our cabinas with a private kitchenette for added comfort and convenience. The kitchenette is fully equipped for preparing light meals and drinks.
For shorter stays, Cabinas #2 and #3 provide a convenient mini bar for your essentials. Please note that these units do not include a kitchen sink, dishes, or utensils. If you require any of these items during your stay, please request them from anyone on the staff.
For a group stay in all 5 cabinas, guests can rent the lodge exclusively for up to 17 guests. Please contact us for more information, or to host a private event.

Check-out: 11:30 AM
Nightly rate is based on double occupancy
Extra guest fee is up to $300 MXN/night
Children 0-2 years old are considered infants, and stay free of charge.
Last minute bookings can be made on the same day, up to 2:00PM
Advance bookings are allowed up to 1 year before the arrival date.
Long stay and seasonal discounts are always applied when available.
Taxes and booking fees are pre-included in the rate.
Rates are quoted in Mexican pesos (MXN) and subject to change, based on seasonal demand and currency exchange fluctuations.
